About Shayne

Shayne is a Private Wealth Adviser in the North Sydney office for the Shadforth Financial Group.

Education and experience

Shayne maintains personal advice relationships with private clients as well as provides advice to corporate members and facilitates seminars for corporate clients. Shayne also provides technical training to our team across the country.

Shayne holds a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism/Psychology) from the University of Queensland, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning. Shayne is a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner and Life Risk Specialist® professional, and a member of Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA). In 2022 Shayne was recognised as the Financial Adviser of the Year at the Women in Finance Awards.

Shayne’s background in communications and psychology allows her to communicate effectively to individuals and groups about a broad range of topics, from basic financial planning concepts to the challenging technical niches within the industry. Shayne also contributes to the Certified Financial Planner® certification program via the FPA and the Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) program via Pearson Vue and CPA Australia.

Outside of work

Away from work, Shayne has been awarded her second dan black belt in karate, and feels the discipline taught within martial arts is applicable to financial planning practice. She is always looking for new challenges and has recently begun training for some 10km charity fun runs and other obstacle-based events.
