About Zain

As a qualified adviser, Zain is passionate about helping his clients identify their lifestyle and financial aspirations, and designing strategies that will assist them to achieve these goals in a logical and efficient manner.

Education and experience

Zain holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from La Trobe University which he completed in 2013, along with an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning.  He is a Certified Financial Planner®.

Zain has been working in the financial planning industry since 2015, initially gaining experience in a boutique private wealth firm, before commencing his career as an Associate Adviser at Shadforth in 2017.

He has great technical skills and  is able to distil complex financial concepts into easily understood advice, so his clients have a clear understanding of the options available to them.

Zain has specialist knowledge in the areas of cashflow modelling, super and retirement planning, efficient portfolio management, Centrelink, and aged care strategies.

Outside of work

Away from work, Zain likes to spend time with his wife and son. He is an avid North Melbourne Football Club and Boston Celtics supporter, and enjoys playing basketball with friends.  During the summer holidays he enjoys visiting his family in Abu Dhabi.
