About Campbell
Campbell is a Private Wealth Adviser in the Melbourne office for the Shadforth Financial Group.
He is one of the most experienced advisers in the industry and helps successful people make smarter financial decisions. This provides them with the freedom and confidence to spend more time doing what they love.
His client base includes medical professionals, business owners, senior executives, family groups and not for profits. Campbell’s areas of expertise include goals-based investing, intergenerational planning, superannuation, retirement planning and philanthropic advisory services.
Education and experience
Campbell is a Certified Financial Planner practitioner, the highest accreditation in the profession. He is also FASEA accredited, a SMSF Specialist Adviser, holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree from Monash University and has completed a Diploma of Financial Planning.
Campbell has over thirty two years of industry experience and commenced his financial services career at PwC Australia Chartered Accountants. He was a director of a leading Shadforth founding firm and represents the business on their Not For Profit and Advisory Leadership teams. Campbell has also been a member of the National Adviser Forum and Charity Committee.
Campbell is a past committee member of the Financial Planning Association, has been a master of ceremonies at major industry events and is a regular media commentator. He has also been invited onto industry panels to share his insights on various advice topics, including sustainability investing and the provision of advisory services to not for profits. Campbell is a member of the Responsible Investment Association Australasia, the author of several whitepapers and has lectured in financial planning at the University of Melbourne.

Campbell has been recognised in Barron's Top 50 Financial Advisers in Australia on five different occasions and Financial Standard’s Most Influential Advisers a further five times. He has also been a finalist in the Smart Investor Masterclass for Financial Planning and short listed in the Value of Advice awards.
Outside of work
Away from work, Campbell enjoys spending time with family and friends. He provides pro bono financial services, mentors other advisers and volunteers with his children’s sporting teams (typically as a coach or umpire). Campbell is passionate about a number of causes and competes in various fundraising charity events. He also invests time in his health and wellbeing, playing pennant tennis, swimming, cycling and running.
