About Georgie

Georgie  is a Private Wealth Adviser in the Launceston office for the Shadforth Financial Group.

Education and experience

Georgie has worked in the finance sector since 2009, previously working as an accountant.  She is passionate about educating and helping clients find long-term security through smarter financial decisions and is a regular contributor at financial seminars, in the media and is a member of the Launceston Chapter of the Financial Advice Association of Australia (FAAA).

Georgie holds the following qualifications:

• Bachelor of Business from the University of Tasmania
• Master of Financial Planning through Kaplan Professional
• Member of the Financial Advice Association of Australia (FAAA)

She has also met the new ethical and education standards set by FASEA as a requirement to provide financial advice.

Georgie’s areas of expertise include cashflow modelling, wealth creation, superannuation planning, tax planning, debt transformation and goals-based investing.

Outside of work

Away from work, Georgie leads an active life making the most of the great outdoors whether it be on or under the water, or out in the wilderness hiking. On the weekends she enjoys spending time with her young family.
