About Brendan

Brendan is a Private Wealth Adviser in our Brisbane office.

Brendan has been with Shadforth since 2007, and over this time has built specialised knowledge in superannuation, retirement strategies, tax planning and portfolio management.  His greatest joy comes from helping people from all walks of life achieve financial independence and eliminate financial anxieties.

Establishing a strong understanding of each client’s cash flow is central to Brendan’s approach, and he enjoys partnering with individuals to help them make the most of their finances, so they can make the most of their lives.

Education and experience

• Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) from the Queensland University of Technology
• Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning with Kaplan Professional.
• Certified Financial Planner® practitioner
• Member of the of Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA)

Brendan enjoys working with a broad range of clients from successful hard-working families, through to professionals getting ready to retire and wishing to make the most of their financial future.

Many of his existing clients work in the field of engineering and education, with a common desire to get the most from their money and better understand financial matters. They are often time poor and see the value in partnering with a trusted professional to optimise their financial position and give them time back in their lives.

Outside of work

Away from work, Brendan enjoys supporting all Queensland sporting teams.  He is a husband and father and loves being part of his son’s growth and development through life.  On his holidays Brendan enjoys travel and dining his way through Taiwan, the birthplace of his wife.
